Our experienced General Practitioners (GPs) are dedicated to delivering high-quality medical care, from treating acute illnesses to managing chronic conditions and promoting long-term wellness.

Doctors

Dr Cliona O’Rorke
MB BCH BAO MCRPI MICGP MFSEM DME DCH

An honours graduate of University College Dublin, GP training was completed in 2004 - a year that also brought the Ellard Eppel Trophy for the highest results nationally in the final postgraduate exams.

The team at Sundrive was joined as a locum in 2004 and became a partner in 2008.

Been a GP Trainer since 2008 and an Intern Supervisor since 2023.

A special interest in Women's Health runs through the work: contraception, reproductive health, and menopause.

Dr George Dennis
MB BCH BAO MICGP

Graduated of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1998 and completed General Practice training in 2004.

Postgraduate trained in minor surgery and musculoskeletal injection therapy.

Special interests include men's health, children's health, and the long-term management of chronic medical conditions.

I also have significant experience in providing primary care for people with intellectual disabilities. I am committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families in the community.

Dr Michael Willoughby

MB BCh BAO, MICGP, MRCEM, DRCOG, LL.B

Graduated of University College Dublin in 2015. Having previously trained at Sundrive Medical Centre, in 2023 rejoined the practice as GP.

Clinical interests include men's health, evidence-based medicine, and chronic disease management. Building strong relationships with patients and improving quality of life are central to their approach to care.

I have been working as a Practice Nurse here in Sundrive since 2018.
I have a particular interest in women’s health, health promotion, and encouraging preventative approaches that make a real difference to long-term wellbeing. Building positive relationships with patients and creating a welcoming, reassuring environment is at the heart of what I do.

I graduated from Edinburgh University with a strong foundation in patient-centred care. After working in various hospitals, I joined Sundrive Medical Centre in March 2025, bringing a passion for nursing and a commitment to supporting the health and well-being of every patient.

Michelle Warren

I have been working at Sundrive Medical Centre for 20 years, supporting GPs, nurses, and the wider primary care team. Skilled in patient liaison, records management, appointments, and confidential correspondence. Known for strong organisation, discretion, and a calm, professional approach in fast-paced environments.

Celeste Gully

I joined Sundrive Medical Centre in 2016 as a medical receptionist and greatly enjoy working with such a dedicated and enthusiastic team. My responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of the reception area alongside our GPs and administrative staff.

Carol Elton

I am a Medical Receptionist at Sundrive Medical Centre, where I have worked for six years. As part of a busy administration team, I manage high-volume patient contact, appointments, and administrative tasks in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt and efficient service for all patients.

Niamh Marren

I have been working as a Medical Receptionist at Sundrive Medical Centre since 2019. I am one of the friendly faces you will see at the front desk—helping patients book appointments, answering questions, and making sure everything runs smoothly. My goal is to make every person feel welcome, heard, and well taken care of.

Leanne Geraghty

I have been a GP medical secretary at Sundrive Medical Centre for nine years. I take pride in being friendly, helpful, and organised. My role involves managing appointments, answering calls, and supporting the wonderful GP team here. I always strive to go above and beyond for our patients. Staying calm under pressure comes naturally to me, and I am genuinely happy to help.

Andy Ellman

As the Phlebotomist at Sundrive Medical Centre, I ensure professional, low-discomfort blood taking while prioritising patient safety and wellbeing. In addition to phlebotomy duties, my extensive administrative experience contributes to the smooth daily running of the surgery.

Practice Manager

Anne O'Connell

Working at Sundrive Medical Centre for last 36 years and 10 years as Practice Manager, this role oversees the daily operations of a busy GP surgery, supported by a very good team. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating patient services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the practice. Dedicated to fostering a welcoming and organised environment,  working closely with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care to the Sundrive community. The role also involves handling finances, liaising with external healthcare providers, and continuously improving practice systems to meet the evolving needs of patients and staff alike.
